A tragic ferry accident in South Sudan
A refugee boat carrying hundreds of civilians trying to flee growing violence in the African country capsized on the Nile River on Tuesday, leaving more than 200 people dead.
Most of the casualties were women and children who were not able to swim to safety.
They were among a growing number of people in South Sudan seeking refuge from the bloodshed between government and rebel forces.
More than 400-thousand people have been displaced from their homes over the past month, and according to one estimate, up to 10-thousand people have been killed.
