Finance ministers of Korea and China agreed to seek ways to deal with global uncertainties.
During the first of their high-level meeting since Presidents Park Geun-hye and Xi Jinping took office in Seoul, Korean Finance Minister Hyun Oh-seok and his Chinese counterpart Xu Shaoshi agreed to strengthen cooperation amid economic downturn in emerging countries and tapering of quantitative easing by the United States.
Seoul and Beijing also agreed to jointly respond to climate change and increase cooperation on green technology and industry, energy conservation and environmental protection.
