We start with a fresh warning out of Pyongyang that turns up the temperature on inter-Korean relations
North Korea has threatened to strike South Korea.
Seoul's Defense Ministry has confirmed the North's National Defense Commission sent a fax on Thursday to Seoul's National Security Council through the inter-Korean military hotline threatening to strike the South without warning.
This comes after several conservative groups held rallies in Seoul on Tuesday protesting North Korea's authoritarian rule and human rights abuses.
The North said the rallies insulted its "highest dignity," referring to its young leader Kim Jong-un.
In response, the South Korean government said it would "react sternly" to any provocations by the North.
