President Park calls for systematic reforms to tackle youth unemploymentUpdated: 2013-12-19 (KST)
President Park has called for reforms in the education system and the labor market to tackle the rising youth unemployment rate.
Speaking at the second meeting of the presidential youth committee Wednesday, President Park emphasized the importance of creating a business ecosystem in which young people can be evaluated for their capabilities, rather than for their educational background alone.
She urged colleges to give students the skills they need to succeed in the job market and called for early adoption of a system that would allow students to work and study at the same time.

To enhance the youth unemployment rate, I think first employers' pespetives should be changed. Diploma from a good quality university has been considered as a scale of ability. Prejudice should be avoided from employers and people who want skillful new workers. Thank you.
