U.S. Vice President Biden to convey U.S. concerns on air defense zone in meeting with Abe

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden is currently holding a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at his first stop of a week-long trip to Northeast Asia.
A press conference will take place after the meeting
Prior to his arrival to Tokyo, Biden said in an interview with the Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun that the U.S. remains deeply concerned about China's new Air Defense Identification Zone in the East China Sea.
Biden will fly to Beijing on Wednesday to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping before coming to Seoul on Thursday, where he is to meet with President Park Geun-hye.
Highlighting the tensions in the region, Taiwan's Ministry of Defense on Tuesday morning reported seeing American, Chinese and Japanese military aircraft flying in the newly-established zone.
