The latest South Korean baseball player making waves overseas is power-hitter Lee Dae-ho .
And, it looks like he's joining the list of players looking for a Major League Baseball contract. Steven Choi joins us for the latest. Hello
Hey guys, the first baseman and the Orix Buffaloes are parting ways after two years, as Lee looks for a job elsewhere, possibly in America.
According to a Japanese sports daily, the 31 year old told the team that he wanted to pursue a chance at playing in the Majors.
However, many speculate that Lee was simply just looking for more than the two-year, 800-million yen, or about 8 million U.S. dollar deal, they offered him.
Meanwhile, another report in the daily said that Samsung Lions closer Oh Seung-hwan would be a good fit for the Japanese league's Hanshin Tigers, if he can't reach an agreement with a Major League team.
