Pyongyang agrees to let South Korean lawmakers visit Gaeseong Industrial Complex
On Thursday, North Korea also agreed to allow South Korean lawmakers sitting on a parliamentary unification committee to visit the two Koreas' Gaeseong Industrial Complex.
The Unification Ministry in Seoul said Pyongyang gave the green light for the group of some 60 lawmakers and aides to visit the factory park next Wednesday.
It would be the first time a South Korean parliamentary committee enters Gaeseong during an audit of the government.
The lawmakers plan to meet with representatives of the South Korean businesses operating at the industrial zone, hear their grievances and tour the facilities.
