At least 30 killed in Syria suicide truck bombing
At least 30 people have been killed by a suicide truck bombing near the central Syrian city of Hama.
The country's state-run news agency Sana said Syrian rebels rammed a truck packed with over a ton of explosives into a government checkpoint.
The blast caused a nearby petrol tanker to explode, increasing the damage and casualties.
The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front was behind the attack.
Although the attack seemed to be targeting government troops, most of the dead were civilians.
