President Park calls for international regulations on cyber terrorism
Turning now to one of the biggest conferences in the world on cyberspace currently being hosted here in Seoul.
It has brought together over 15-hundred officials and experts from nearly 90 countries and 18 international organizations.
Under the theme of “Global Prosperity through an Open and Secure Cyberspace" the event will deal with crucial issues related to the virtual world including security, the digital divide, economic growth and capacity building.
At the opening ceremony Thursday, President Park Geun-hye emphasized the need to narrow the digital divide between developing and developed countries by sharing know-how in the IT sector and called for international regulations to ensure cyber security.
