Koreas to reconnect military hotline at West Sea
The two Koreas will revive a military hotline at the West Sea on this Friday as part of their process in reopening the shuttered inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex.
The line was cut unilaterally by North Korea back in March in protest against annual South Korea-U.S. joint military drills.
As reconnection of the military hotline was one of the preconditions Seoul demanded for resuming operations at Gaeseong once it's revived, officials say the complex will likely be up and running again soon, possibly before Korea's thanksgiving holiday, Chuseok, later this month.
