Two Koreas begin talks on reopening Gaeseong Industrial Complex
Officials from the two Koreas have convened the first meeting of the committee that will manage the Gaeseong Industrial Complex this Monday in North Korea's border town of Gaeseong.
The priority is for the two sides to agree on an exact date for the resumption of operations at the joint industrial park, which came to a halt five months ago.
While Pyongyang wants business to resume as soon as possible, Seoul wants to ensure that the two sides take the time to talk about how to make future operations more fruitful.
Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to set up the new committee last month to prevent future shutdowns.
We will bring you the outcome of the inter-Korean meeting as they become available.
