Gaeseong joint committee to hold 1st meeting next Monday: KCNA
The two Koreas' newly formed joint committee on the management of the Gaeseong Industrial Complex will reportedly hold its first meeting next Monday at the North Korean border town.
The South Korean government on Wednesday proposed convening the first meeting on this date, as the two sides finalized their agreement on launching the joint committee.
North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Thursday that the two Koreas agreed to create a standing secretariat and necessary subcommittees while discussing issues related to the management of the complex.
Meanwhile, Seoul and Pyongyang earlier today exchanged lists of some 2-hundred-50 separated family members each, for the upcoming family reunions late next month.
The lists will be reviewed, and the final lists of participants will be exchanged on September 16th.
