Ferry carrying hundreds sinks in Philippines
A ferry carrying hundreds sank in the Philippines on Friday evening after colliding with a cargo ship, killing at least 30 people and leaving more than 2-hundred others missing.
Authorities believe some of the missing may be trapped inside the vessel, which sank in waters about 33 meters deep.
The coast guard spent Saturday sending divers with deep-water equipment to retrieve bodies.
The ferry had more than 8-hundred people on board at the time of accident, including scores of children and infants.
