Korea's opposition Democratic United Party has given itself a new name and will soon have a new party leader.
The liberal party decided to change its name to Democratic Party and is currently waiting for the results on polls to elect its new leader.
Around 17-thousand people gathered at the party convention on Saturday with opposition lawmakers and their supporters.
After its defeat in both the general elections last April and the presidential election last year, the opposition party vowed to stop faction politics within its party.
The party's candidates for leadership emphasized innovation and transformation within the party to make a successful political comeback.
The ballots are now closed and counting began less than an hour ago.
We'll have the results for you later in our newscast.
