President Park Nominates Park Han-chul as Consitutional Court Chief
South Korea now has nominees for chief of the Constitutional Court and head of the government body in charge of small and medium enterprises.
President Park Geun-hye has tapped Constitutional Court justice Park Han-chul who currently is the longest-serving justice at the Constitutional Court.
This is the first time someone with a background as a prosecutor has nominated to lead the court's nine-member bench.
Meanwhile, Professor Han Jeong-hwa of Hanyang University's Global Graduate School of Business was picked to head the Small and Medium Business Administration.
The 59-year-old served as the head of several private bodies handling issues of smaller firms and venture companies.
