Govt. Reorganization Talks Fails to Reach Agreement
Just three days before the Park Geun-hye administration takes power,.. her government restructuring plan has yet to be passed by the National Assembly.
Six key members from the ruling Saenuri Party and the Democratic United Party met for talks earlier this morning in a last-ditch effort to come to an agreement before the weekend.
If they can't, President-elect Park will take office without her Cabinet in place, and will begin her term with current President Lee Myung-bak's Cabinet.
Both the ruling and opposition parties have asked their respective lawmakers to be prepared in case a new Cabinet does not come together.
