Pyongyang's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Threatens to Conduct Further Nuclear Tests
It didn't take long for North Korea to issue new threats following its nuclear test.
A spokesperson for the North's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned Pyongyang plans to forge ahead with its nuclear program, and carry out additional tests if the United States doesn't halt its hostilities.
The official went on to say North Korea had no plans to carry out a third nuclear test, but (quote-unquote) "U.S. provocations" left them no choice.
He also said the international sanctions imposed following December's rocket launch were an infringement on Pyongyang's rights, and that North Korea would do anything to protect its sovereignty.
