N. Korea Withdraws Workers & Equipments from Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site
South Korean government officials say North Korea began withdrawing workers and equipment from its Punggye-ri nuclear test site last Friday.
Seoul is trying to figure out the intentions behind the move.
One of the sources says Seoul isn't sure whether the withdrawal is temporary or not, but it could be a sign that a nuclear test is imminent.
Another source says the withdrawal might be related to the three-day Lunar New Year holiday which started on Saturday.
South Korean government officials say they expect North Korea to conduct its third nuclear test sometime between the end of the holidays and this coming Saturday, the birthday of late leader Kim Jong-il.
