S.Korea's Nuclear Chief Envoy Visits China for Talks
South Korea's chief nuclear envoy is in China for consultations on North Korea's nuclear test plans with the reclusive state's biggest ally.
Lim Sung-nam will meet with his Chinese counterpart, Wu Dawei, today. where he's expected to make a last-ditch diplomatic effort to deter North Korea from further provocations.
Lim is likely to stress that denuclearization of the Korean peninsula is a must for peace and stability in the region, and a third nuclear test by the North will pose a great threat to regional security.
