A delegation of special envoys appointed by President-elect Park Geun-hye has arrived in Beijing for a four-day visit.This comes after Park instructed the four-member delegation led by former lawmaker and key manager of Park's presidential campaign, Kim Moo-sung late last week to discuss North Korea and issues of mutual interest during their trip.
Upon their arrival, Kim told reporters that the group came to create an opportunity to build new trust between Seoul and Beijing to which China's Foreign Minister expressed confidence that strategic relations between the two countries would enter a new stage.On Wednesday, the delegation is scheduled to pay a courtesy call to China's next leader Xi Jinping and deliver a personal letter from Park.
