It appears that North Korean authorities are carrying out an extensive campaign to track downwhat they call "rebellious elements" in the country.
A high-ranking South Korean government official told reporters Thursday afternoon, that the North's security and judicial agencies have been ordered to submit information related to arrests of people that have a grudge against the Kim Jong-un regime.
The official added that this order has even been sent to local police offices, and an atmosphere of fear has been created within North Korean society.
He also said that it is unclear whether there was a protest or a stir in the North, but it seems that there are people who are vindictive against their leader for carrying out major reshuffles.
