3rd Launch of Naro Rocket Pushed Back to 2013
Scientists say they will NOT attempt to launch the Naro-1 this year, but the rocket will be ready for launch sometime next year.
The Launch Preparation Committee said Monday that it is best to take the time for a close inspection of the rocket rather than rushing what would be the Naro's third and final launch.
A planned launch of the rocket last week was postponed just minutes before the scheduled launch time and followed previous cancellations.
Next year's launch will be the third and final one, as Russia, which built the first stage of the two-stage rocket, only agreed to provide the thruster engine for a maximum of three times.
