Ruling & Opp. Parties Agree On Parliamentary Proceedings, Regular Session To Open Sept. 3rd
The ruling and opposition parties came to an agreement to end an over two-week deadlock of the National Assembly.
Both major parties agreed on Tuesday to eight parliamentary proceedings which include a motion to examine the credentials of controversial Unified Progressive Party lawmakers Lee Seok-gi and Kim Jae-yeon , both of whom are accused of being pro-North Korea.
An opening ceremony for the September regular session is scheduled for September 3rd.
