Korean Men's Team Grabs Silver in Table Tennis
We start this morning with the latest from day twelve of the London Olympics Korea grabbed a silver Wednesday in the men's team table tennis event.
A formidable Chinese team beat the Korean trio three sets to zero in a lopsided final.
China's victory means they swept up ALL the gold medals on offer for table tennis.
However, this silver holds great value for Korea as the nation went from a bronze in 2008 to a silver this year.
This was also Korea's only table tennis medal in London.
In Taekwondo, Korea's Lee Dae-hoon secured at least a silver in the 58 kilogram category Wednesday beating Russia's Alexey Denisenko 7 to 6 in his semi-final.
Lee will face Spain's Joel Gonzales Bonilla in the final match which is set to start in less than half-an-hours time.
Korea now has 12 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals and is currently ranked fourth in the overall medal standings.
