Switching to a sport that originated here in Korea Taekwondo.

London 2012 is the first Olympic Games in which an electronic scoring system has been adopted in the sport.

In a simultaneous attack where both players hit the other -- the sensor would score the player who contacted the opponent with sufficient force first.

[Interview : Kim Se-hyuk, Taekwondo Team Coach] "We focused on enhancing physical strength -- to overpower the opponent during the three two-minute rounds in this new electronically-scored system."

The scoring is also more detailed -- a point for the body, three for the head, and an extra point will be awarded if the player adds spins in the attack.

[Interview : Hwang Kyung-sun, Taekwondo Player] "Technique-wise, I think I'm competent enough.
I'm trying to make more hits on the face now since I've been more of a body-attacker."

In any controversial situation, judges will make a decision following a video replay.
