Rumor of 'Kim Jung-un's wife' gains credibility
North Korea's state TV on Sunday showed a footage of leader Kim Jong-un visiting a kindergarten in Pyongyang but what is noteworthy is the woman who was seen beside him.
The unidentified woman appears to be the same person who caught the attention of the world on July 5th when she was first seen seated next to the new leader during a music concert.
Now there is growing speculation that she may be the wife of Kim Jong-un.
Earlier, analysts said she might be either Kim's wife or a younger sister.
The woman was also seen on July 8 paying tribute to the late North Korean founder Kim Il-sung, bowing deeply while standing next to the new leader.
Cheong Seong-chang, a senior fellow at the Sejong Institute, said the woman is probably Kim's wife, and the North appears to be releasing her image to dispel any misgivings among the North Korean public that their leader is too young to rule.
