National Assembly Holds Its First Extraordinary Session Thursday, Controversial Issues On The Table
The 19th National Assembly's first extra-ordinary session starts Thursdayand the special session will run for a month.
As both major political parties look ahead to the nomination of presidential candidatescontroversial issues are bound to be on the table for debate.
The government plans to hold hearings on Supreme Court justice appointees starting next week.
And as the government-wide investigation into the mis-handling of a planned military pact with Japan is underwaysomeone will be held accountable according to the probe results.
The rival parties are also embroiled in a parliamentary investigation into the government's alleged surveillance of civilians.
