Late N. Korean Leader's Nuclear Intentions Exposed in Official Document
An official document showing late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il's real intentions in using nuclear power has been unearthed.
The internal documents of the Workers' Party of Korea, acquired by the Japanese daily Mainichi Shimbun, indicates that the deceased leader had indeed ordered his workers to develop large numbers of uranium-enriched atomic bombs.
This stands in stark contrast with the regime's earlier claims that it was using nuclear power for civilian purposes.
The 19-page document, written in February, details the current international political landscape, and seems to be aimed at educating the country's junior executives.
