(07) Sports KBO All Star 1
Don't vote for your favourite player for the KBO's All-Star gameinstead vote for the players you hate mostJust trust me on this one
40 players met yesterday to discuss how far they were willing to push for a 10th team in the KBO for next season.
They elected to boycott this year's All-Star game July 21st in Daejeon to send a message to the owners.
It's certainly more bad news for Daejeon fans with their Hanhwa Eagles in last place, but this move with undoubtedly receive the support of KBO fans, who are almost all in favour of a 10th team.
Meanwhile for the players, who do get selected to the All-Star game and do end up boycotting according to league rulesthey will be suspended 10-games.
So you could argue that if you're a true fan of your team voting your favourite player to the All-Star game, could actually be counter productive.
Leading the league for future suspension right now is Lotte's Kang Min-Hoteammate Jeon Jun-Woo is in 2nd.
There weren't any games in the KBO last night, but there was 1-game yesterday in Japan and it happened to be the Orix Buffaloes and the Seibu LionsOrix winning 5-3 on the strength of Lee Dae-Ho's bat.
Lee was 3-for-5 for a second straight game, this time with 3-RBIraising his average to .293.
