'N. Korea Resumes Work on Light-Water Reactor
North Korea may have resumed building a light-water reactor at its main nuclear facility after construction work came to a halt in December last year
The U.S.-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies said Wednesday that satellite images show work is being done to the containment building roof for the light-water reactor at the North's Yongbyon nuclear facility.
But the institute predicts the reactors are unlikely to become operational before 2014 or 2015.
Experts say, the progress reflects North Korea's relentless pursuit of its nuclear program, despite continued warnings from the international community.
