First we have K-pop superstars BIGBANG who’s made yet another splash in Europe after taking home the “Best Fan” award at the “2012 MTV TRL Awards.” Marking the finale to the awards ceremony, the “Best Fan” category is voted for by fans worldwide. BIGBANG knocked out fellow nominees like pop icon Avril Lavigne and high profile British boy band One Direction, becoming the first Asian artist to win the honor. Last year, the Korean boy group had already made their presence felt loud and clear to European fans by receiving the "Worldwide Act" award at the "2011 MTV Europe Music Awards."
