The ministry then criticized the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, who recently called on Pyeongyang to refrain from further provocative actions, including a nuclear test, that would threaten regional security.
Accusing the U.S., China, Russia, France and Britain of infringing on its independence, as well as a right to peaceful use of space and nuclear power, North Korea denounced the five nuclear states for conducting and possessing more nuclear weapons than any other country in the world.
