China: N. Korea's Rocket Launch 'Inappropriate'
China says North Korea's plan to launch a long-range rocket is inappropriate, and it's doing its best to make Pyeongyang give up its plan.
This was the result from a bilateral summit between President Lee Myung-bak and Chinese President Hu Jintao this morning where Beijing stressed that the North should rather focus on stabilizing the lives of its people.
The two sides also agreed to resume working-level talks on the exclusive economic zone, or EEZ, which involves recent rival claims over Ieodo,a rock outcropping off Korea's southern island of Jeju.
Lee and Hu decided to support both Korean and Chinese companies so that they can more actively do business in each other's country, and move forward with FTA talks during April and May.
