N. Korea: NK Sanctions & Light Water Reactors to Top Agenda at 6-Party Talks

North Korea's Foreign Ministry said in its statement carried by the country's state-run news agency, that the communist state agreed to the nuclear moratoriums and the allowance of U.N. inspectors "with a view to maintaining positive atmosphere" for the U.S.-North Korea talks.
The ministry also said that if the long-stalled 6-party talks were to resume, "priority will be given to the discussion of issues concerning the lifting of sanctions on the North and provision of light water reactors.
It added that the two countries agreed to improve the long-strained bilateral ties by expanding their people-to-people exchanges in the fields of culture, education and sports.
