Minimize civilian use of highly enriched uranium. That's what nuclear representatives from 50 different nations agreed in principle during a two-day meeting in New Delhi.
Negotiators from participating countries of this year's Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul were in India to discuss key goals for the Seoul summit as well as what's to be included in the "Seoul Communique."
An official at Seoul's foreign ministry said these nations and four international organizations reached agreement on most issues AND decided to minimize the use of highly enriched uranium for research and medical purposes to prevent nuclear materials from being used in terror attacks.
This will be included in the "Seoul Communique" which will be announced on the last day of the two-day summit in March.
