Trade Minister: KORUS FTA Will Be Implemented By No Later Than February

Korea's Trade Minister Kim Jong-hoon has expressed doubts, over meeting the New Year's Day target date, for the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement to come into effect.
Kim told reporters today, the implementation of the trade pact, might be pushed back, as more time is needed for a thorough preparation.
The trade official, however, added that the deal will be brought into effect by no later than February.
Meanwhile, Korea's Finance Minister Bahk Jae-wan, in an interview with News Y, has expressed his intentions, to accept almost all of the 13 supplementary clauses drawn up by lawmakers in October.
The measures include, assisting small and mid-sized companies, and providing compensations for the nation's agriculture sector.
