South Korea's chief nuclear negotiator Lim Sung-nam departed for Russia today, with the hopes of resuming the stalled six-party talks.
During his first trip to Moscow after taking the top post, he will meet with his Russian counterpart Alexei Borodavkin .
The two are expected to exchange views on last month's inter-Korean dialogue that took place in Beijing, as well as, this week's North Korea-US meeting in Geneva.
Following the Geneva meeting, the six-party member countries, namely the two Koreas, the US, Russia, China and Japan, are expected to more actively engage in talks with efforts to resolve the North's nuclear issue.
