N. Korea Willing to Return to 6-Party Nuke Talks without Preconditions
North Korea says it remains unchanged on calling for the resumption of the six-party nuclear talks at an early date, without any preconditions.
A spokesman for North Korea's foreign ministry told North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency on Monday that the regime hopes to comprehensively implement a 2005 denuclearization deal, abandoning its nuclear programs and returning to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and IAEA safeguards.
The spokesman added that working towards the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in a peaceful manner will be a win-win situation for both countries.
