Bosworth: N. Korea Must Show Commitment to Dialogue
North Korea and the United States have wrapped up two days of meetings in New York aimed at restarting the six-party talks on the North's nuclear program.
The US special envoy for North Korean affairs, Stephen Bosworth, described the meetings as "constructive and business-like."
He said that the resumption of talks, better relations, and regional stability are all possible, but only if North Korea shows through its actions that it is ready to live up to its commitments.
North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan, who met with Bosworth also said the talks were constructive, and that the two sides have decided to continue the negotiations.
