S. Korean Base in Afghanistan Attacked Again for 11th Time
A South Korean base in the northern Afghanistan was attacked again last week marking it the eleventh hit against the camp.
The country's foreign ministry said Sunday two shells of rockets landed on the ground near the Charika base at around 9:08 p.m. on Saturday local time but no casualties were reported.
The latest attack is the eleventh against the base in Charika so far this year.
The ministry said currently it is investigating the cause of the attack in cooperation with local police with the assumption that the latest shelling could have been done by Taliban forces in retaliation for Osama bin Laden's death in May.
