As typhoon season is approaching Asia radiation fears are growing in Japan as well as other neighboring countries including Korea.
As heavy rain falls in Fukushima, Japan, levels of radioactive water inside four of the six reactors at the crippled nuclear power plant have increased dramatically.
For one the levels of radioactive water inside the No. 1 reactor were up by 20 centimeters on this Monday compared to the day before, according to the operator of the plant TEPCO.
Precipitation around the plant rose over 130 millimeters in just 24 hours, as of Monday morning.
Media sources say that the radioactive materials might have been swept into the sea, adding that more rain is also expected this week.
