One of the hackers that attacked the database of the nation's financial services provider Hyundai Capital has been caught on a closed-circuit television.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Monday they obtained CCTV footage of the hacker withdrawing money from an Automated Teller Machine at two banks in Seoul.
For the investigation, Hyundai Capital transferred 100 million won to one of four listed bank accounts in a blackmail email sent by the hacker.
The lending company found that a part of the money was transferred to the other three listed accounts.
The CCTV footage shows the hacker to be in his 20s or 30s and wearing glasses.
