N. Korea's Nuclear Envoy Arrives in Beijing
And North Korean top nuclear negotiator Kim Kye-gwan arrived in Beijing Thursday morning, where he was widely expected to meet his Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei to discuss the North's nuclear program.
Various reports say Kim was escorted by officials from Beijing's foreign ministry just after landing, and was likely heading for a luncheon with Wu.
Analysts predicted that the two allies would discuss the possibility of Pyeongyang's uranium enrichment program or UEP being raised at the United Nations Security Council.
Meanwhile, US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell also arrived in Beijing on Thursday to discuss the North's nuclear issue with the Chinese negotiator.
