US Official: If N. Korea Wants Talks, No More Nuclear Tests Updated: 2011-01-12 00:00:00 KST

A high rank US official said if North Korea wants to resume the six-party nuclear talks the communist state should first meet requirements.
Reuters reported on Tuesday that the senior administration official said on condition of anonymity that if Pyeongyang wants to restart the the long-stalled multilateral talks it should first allow International Atomic Energy Agency Inspectors back into the country and cease its nuclear and missile tests.
The official, however, did not say whether the IAEA inspectors should be allowed in the communist nation before or after the resumption of the talks.
