Consumers in India apparently have shown a great deal of interest in Samsung mobile phones this year according to search engine statistics in the South Asian country.
The Times of India reported on Sunday that "Samsung mobile phone" was among the top ten listed phrases on the Yahoo! India search engine in 2010.
The report said that India's online railway booking portal, IRCTC, came out on top with the remaining nine spots all related to mobile phones or computers.
