Japanese media is reporting that Tokyo officials believe that Pyeongyang is preparing for another nuclear test.
According to Kyodo News and Jiji News on Thursday, the Japanese government officials have confirmed a new tunnel through satellite imagery at North Korea's Punggye-ri nuclear site.
The two news agencies also added that it wouldn't be surprising to see the reclusive regime conduct the nuclear test sometime soon.
And Japan's Sankei Shimbun on Wednesday also published satellite imagery that allegedly shows work toward the test already in progress.
The satellite imagery was first provided by IHS Jane's, a British open-source intelligence provider to militaries.
