Voting is underway at polling stations around Korea on this Wednesday to elect candidates in the country's fifth local elections.
Polls opened at 6 a.m. and are due to close in two hours at 6 p.m.
Well then, let's take at look at the voter turnout so far.
According to the National Election Commission as of 4 p.m the voter turnout reached 44.2 percent of eligible voters numbering 38.8 million.
Voters are electing nearly 4-thousand officials for the posts of mayor, governor, local councilor and education chief who will take office for the next four years.
