"N. Korea Gears Up to Launch a Mid-range Missile At East Sea" Updated: 2010-04-30 00:00:00 KST

North Korea may fire an intermediate range ballistic missile "Rodong" toward the East Sea next month according to a Japanese daily.
Citing an unidentified military source Asahi Shimbun reports South Korea and the United States have caught hold of the suspected location via satellite as to where the North may launch the 13-hundred-kilometer range missile.
The daily projects the launch would take place sometime in May despite the fact that it is difficult to pin-point where Pyeongyang plans to launch the missile as the rocket uses easily assembled solid fuel and portable launching pad.
