First-Stage Engine of Naro-1 to Arrive on Weekend Updated: 2010-04-02 00:00:00 KST

With Korea preparing for another attempt to launch its first space rocket in June the rocket's first-stage engine is scheduled to arrive from Russia over the weekend.
The Korea Aerospace Research Institute says the 130-ton main booster rocket will arrive at Gimhae Airport on Saturday or Sunday from Russia's Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center.
The rocket will be transported to the Naro Space Center in South Jeolla Province following safety inspections.
Korea made an attempt at launching the Naro-One in August last year but failed due to problems with the separation of a fairing that covered the satellite.
