190 Korean Peacekeeping Troops Leave for Haiti

190 Korean peacekeeping troops left for Haiti on Saturday as part of the UN peacekeeping mission in the quake-stricken nation.
The Korean Army says they left for Port-au-Prince and that they will later travel to join an advance team of some 30 troops in Leogane, some 40 kilometers west of the Haitian capital, to set up camp.
Given the request from the UN to be self-sustainable, the Army says the Korean troops include security forces and medical personnel.
